چکیده
The Pisum sativum (PS), known as the green pea, was used in this investigation to produce a novel surfactant. performance of PS surfactant also evaluated using various tests, including contact angle, IFT, emulsion, zeta potential, and oil recovery factor measurement presence formation brine (FB) with total dissolved solid (TDS) 150,000 ppm. characterization study tests revealed that nonionic. critical micelle concentration (CMC) results indicated surfactant’s CMC value is 1500 IFT angle measurements showed significantly lowered angles. lowest 3.71 mN/m 57.37° were achieved at FB 12,500 ppm (optimum salinity). emulsion Winsor type III emulsions crude oil. core flooding experiments tertiary solution resulted maximum 83.55%.

A Novel Bio-based Sulfonic Zwitterionic Surfactant Derived from Transgenic Soybean Oil and its Performance in Surface and Interfacial Activities
Bio-based surfactants have attracted increasing attention due to their renewable resources and excellent surface properties. In this study, a novel bio-based sulfonic zwitterionic surfactant (BSZS) derived from transgenic soybean oil was prepared using a simple reaction route with two steps of the amidation and quaterisation. The bio-based sulfonic zwitterionic surfactant showed a critical mice...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Application of Nanoparticles for Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery
In this paper, the potentials of using particles, especially nanoparticles, in enhanced oil recovery is investigated. The effect of different nanoparticles on wettability alteration, which is an important method to increase oil recovery from oil-wet reservoirs, is reviewed. The effect of different kinds of particles, namely solid inorganic particles, hydrophilic or hydrophobic nanoparticles, an...
متن کاملAn Experimental Study of Surfactant Alternating CO2 Injection for Enhanced Oil Recovery of Carbonated Reservoir
Core flooding experiments were conducted with the objective of evaluating near miscible surfactant alternating CO2 injection and the effect of surfactant concentrations on gas-oil and water displacements in porous media. The core samples were provided from a low permeability mixed wet oil reservoir at 156 °F and 1900 psia. In addition, very few studies of surfactant adsorption on car...
